Ordino is a picture postcard village, with a number of smaller villages and hamlets dotted all the way up the valley towards the Arcalis ski area.
Each village/hamlet has its own local bar(s) and restaurant(s). Ordino being larger has a few more. The town of La Massana is 2 km from Ordino and is well provided for shopping and nightlife options.
The skiing and snowboarding at Arcalis is excellent. Being north-facing and above 8000 feet the season generally lasts longer than the other Andorran areas. Facilities are first class.
Runs cater from complete beginner to freeride expert and much in between. It's a great wee ski area in a beautiful part of the world.
Summertime offers myriad hillwalking and trekking routes.
It's very cozy, comfortable and fully furnished apartment close to Ordino Arcalís ski resort. Inside you can find all what you just can imagine, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, 3 TV's, even the iron! All is brand new. Owner is very helpful and friendly person. We were late for check in, but he was waiting for us, help with registration and also let us late check out without any additional fees. Take a look, if you have electro car, they have charger for it in garage!
We arrived by car and there was free parking right across the street specifically for the hotel. If this was full there is paid parking at the end of the street. The included dinner and breakfast were fantastic, it didn't seem like there were many guests in the hotel though. The room was clean and comfortable and suitable for a short stay. The staff didn't speak a lot of english or spanish and we had to brush up on our french.
This is a wonderful hotel, with gorgeous views! The staff were all friendly and professional. Though rustic on the outside, the hotel is updated, clean, and modern. The bed was more comfortable than many European beds. Dinner was very good, and breakfast was excellent! I especially want to rave about the fruit. They had a large selection to choose from and each piece was ripe to perfection.
Great views and very nice pool. The grounds are nice and relaxing. The free parking is deffo a nice addon. The reception staff is super helpful and knows a lot about the area so can suggest ways to spend your time and some nice trekking routes adapted to your needs. All in all it's a nice hotel, despite all the cons.
Clean comfy hotel, the room overlooked the mountain and the views were really pretty.
Staff were very friendly and offered us coffee before the breakfast.
The top notch restaurant on site, offered delicious menu for Hotel guests.
Great facilities, free parking, pool, lovely yard, tennis courts.
The best part of the stay was the beautiful and breathtaking view of the mountains and landscape that I saw from my balcony every day. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They also speak several languages which, English, Spanish, and French, were some of the few that I recognized.
The staff are great
The hotel is nice
The location is good for me
The restaurant was better than finding somewhere else good with the daily menu being excellent value
Everything is clean and tidy
The Sunas are good loved the icey cold tube afterwards
The hotel has nice mountain vibes, the served dinner really was excellent, the common areas are cute. If you are looking for a calm hotel in the mountains, you will enjoy it here. The rooms were clean, make sure to ask for a balcony.
the location is away from the busy city, there is walking track in front of the hotel. the cafe was lovely, didn't have the opportunity to have lunch here, but we had snack during the day, it was perfect. price wise was acceptable.
The hotel is very easy to find, the staff is attentive and friendly and the rooms and facilities are good value for money. It was cheap and in good location so for me it was very good as it was.
We had a great stay in Ordino because of this hotel with freindly staff. We also managed to visit Andorra la Vella and El Pas De La Casa as the bus station is near to the hotel.
good location to walk (path and river directly behind the hotel). very friendly and helpful staff. evening meal rice dish was really really good, and unexpected quality
The staff members were not only super kind but also incredibly helpful
The place is amazing and the hotel is really beautiful. Super close to the sky center Ordino.
